One person was critically injured in a San Francisco car accident the night of August 11, 2009 after being struck by a car on Van Ness Avenue, the San Francisco Examiner reports. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was walking near the intersection of California Street and Van Ness Avenue when a car hit him, San Francisco police said.
